  • How do I know the condition of the watch?
    New The watch is new and shows no signs of wear. Like New & Unworn The watch is in mint condition and has not be worn. If the watch is from old stock, there might be minimal signs of wear from storage. Some stickers may be missing. The watch has not been polished. Used - Very Good The watch shows minor signs of wear, such as small, intangible scratches. The case has flawless chamfers and edges. The bracelet or strap may be slightly stretched. Markings and engravings are clearly visible and not worn. The watch may have been professionally polished without affecting the contours or edges. Used - Good The watch shows visible and tangible signs of wear like scratches, scuffs, or small dents. The bracelet or strap may be significantly stretched. Markings and engravings may be worn but are still visible. The watch may have been professionally polished. Used - Fair The watch shows major, visible signs of wear like scratches and dents. The bracelet or strap shows visible signs of wear.
  • How do I know if a watch is in stock ?
    The availability is indicated in each watch description and is specified as follow: In Stock: Shipping within 3-4 business days. Available upon Order: Items needs to be procured and will be ready to ship within 30 business days. Available upon Request: The item is currently not available. We Will look into potential availability and delivery times for you upon request.
  • Is there a warranty included with my purchase ?
    Yes, all watches come with an international warranty which is detailed in the watch description. In case the original warranty has expired, Avent0ri offers you a 12-month Warranty.
  • What does the warranty cover ?
    The warranty covers manufacturing defects. The warranty excludes damage to watch parts resulting from abnormal or improper usage, lack of care, accidents (such as impacts or breaks), inappropriate use of the watch, or repair from an unauthorized service center.
  • Why are some pre-owned watches cheaper than new, and others more expensive ?
    There are a multitude of reasons for this, such as availability, demand, rarity etc. For certain brands, in particular Rolex, watches are almost always more expensive on the pre-owned market. This is because these brands have a very restricted supply of particular models available for immediate purchase, and customers must have a long-standing purchase history and be willing to wait years for a watch in some cases.

  • How long does the delivery take once the order is shipped ?
    Delivery times vary depending on your location. Typically, domestic deliveries take between 1-3 business days, while international deliveries may take 5-10 business days.
  • How do you ship the watches ?
    We ship all watches using secure, insured shipping methods to ensure they arrive safely. Domestic deliveries are either organized using Swiss Post, DHL, Fedex or with logistic partner, specialized in the transport of luxury goods. International deliveries are organized using either Fedex International Priority or DHL Express.
  • How is my watch packaged for shipping ?
    Your watch will be carefully packaged with protective materials to prevent damage during transit. The packaging is discreet to avoid attracting unnecessary attention.
  • Can I change my shipping address after placing an order ?
    If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate the change, provided the order has not yet been shipped.
  • Do I have to pay any tax ?
    DOMESTIC DELIVERY The listed price includes Swiss VAT of 8,1% which is applicable to all domestic deliveries, regardless of your citizenship or country of residence. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY For International deliveries, the Swiss VAT will be deducted from the listed price. Please note that any applicable import taxes (Local VAT/GST, duties and custom fees) are not included in our price which you will need to settle directly to the forwarder or local tax authorities prior delivery. Important: Switzerland is not part of EU. Therefore, deliveries to EU countries applies import taxes. AIRPORT DELIVERY We can also organize deliveries in the transit zone of Geneva or Zurich airport via our logistic partner. This service is only proposed for luxury watches with value over 5’000 CHF and to clients living abroad and visiting our country. The Swiss VAT will be deducted from the listed price and a special delivery fee will be applied. Please contact us for further details.
  • Do you offer free shipping ?
    Domestic Deliveries: We offer free shipping within Switzerland on all watch orders. International deliveries: For luxury watches valued over 3’000 CHF, we offer free worldwide shipping. For watches valued below 3’000 CHF, shipment costs would be quoted prior order confirmation. Important: Please note that for deliveries outside of Switzerland, import taxes are not included. You will have to pay these taxes directly to the forwarder prior to customs clearance.

  • Can I cancel my order ?
    Your order can be cancelled within 10 days from the date of receipt of your order. The item has to be in the same condition as received. Shipping fee to return the watch will be at your charge. Please note that watches that are specifically sourced for you are typically not cancellable. However, we would be keen to assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and discuss the options.

    Our preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. We do also accept Twint (Swiss application) which has different payment limits depending on your bank.   • What information do I need to provide to sell my watch ?
    You will usually need to provide details such as the brand, model, serial number, condition, original packaging, and any service records.
  • How long does it take to receive a quote ?
    We strive to get back to you with a quote within 3 business days. The timeline may vary depending on the completeness and accuracy of the information received.
  • Can I sell my watch if I don’t have the original box or papers ?
    While having the original box and papers can increase the watch's value, we might still consider buying a watch without them, though it may affect the offer. You will be asked for proof of purchase.
  • Do you buy watches from any brand ?
    We are mainly interested in luxury brands, such as Cartier, Omega, Rolex, Tudor and similar value watches. We do not purchase fashion branded watches which usually have a value below 1’000 CHF.
  • How long does it take to receive the payment for my watch ?
    After accepting our final purchase offer, you will receive the transfer of the corresponding amount to your account within five working days.
  • Can I trade-in my watch ?
    Certainly, when submitting your watch details through our online form, you will have the possibly to select the option “trade-in” and include the details of the watch that interests you within our collection.
  • Where will my watch be stored while on consignment and what if I want it back ?
    All our watches are stored in secure facilities and insured at all times. When we sell a watch on consignment we incur costs to ship, inspect, process, and photograph it, and so we ask for a minimum period of time to allow a fair chance to sell the watch. That said if something unexpected does come up we won't hold your watch against your will, just get in touch and we can have a reasonable conversation about it.

  • How long will it take to source my watch ?
    The time to source your watch depends on the model you are looking for. However, we always strive to source it as quickly as possible while ensuring its quality and authenticity.
  • Which brands can you source ?
    Thanks to our strong network in the watch industry, we have a large access to various brands. That said, the sourcing service is offered for watches with an official retail price over 5’000 CHF.
  • Is a deposit required upfront ?
    A deposit of 20% will be requested upon order, to secure the watch. The balance would need to be settled prior we ship the watch to you.
  • Can I cancel the order of a watch that was specifically sourced for me ?
    Typically, watches that are specifically sourced for you are not cancellable. However, we would be keen to assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and discuss the options.
  • Is there any application fees to request a financing?
    Absolutely not. The analysis of your request and contracting a credit does not incur any application fees.
  • What are the benefits of requesting a financing?

  • How do I qualify for a financing?
    To qualify, you must be 18 to 69 years old and hold either : a Swiss identity card or passport. a Swiss residence permit C. a Swiss residence permit B for at least 12 months. a Swiss residence permit G for at least 3 years. All these documents must be valid at the time of credit application.
  • What document do I need to request information for a financing?
    To make the initial request on Avent0ri, you will simply need to provide a copy of your Swiss ID/Passeport or permit B/C/G. All these documents must be valid at the time of credit application.
  • What supporting documents will be requested by your financial partner?
    A credit application needs to be well prepared. To obtain a positive response, it must not only be complete, but also be properly presented. In order to analyze your situation and look for the best options for you, supporting documents will be requested. The documents required vary from one client to another, depending on the situation, but the basis remains broadly the same: Swiss ID or residence permit Your income (pension, salary, tax assessment) ·Your lease or mortgage contract Your health insurance policies For a matter of confidentiality and data protection, Avent0ri do not request nor have access to the details related to your credit application. As such, we are unable to provide information about the reasons for any potential refusal.
  • How do I apply for a financing?
    You can apply for financing by completing our online application form. Your contact details will be transmitted to our financial partner who will reach out to you within 48 business hours to discuss your request and obtain supporting documents.
  • How long does it take to process my financing request?
    While it might depend on the volume of request, our financial partner you will contact you within 48 business hours. Once the contract is signed, you have 2 weeks to cancel your contract based on Swiss law. Once this deadline is passed, you shall receive the funds on your account within 48 business hours.
  • Can I use the financing for any watch in your collection?
    The financing solution is offered for luxury watches valued over 3’000 CHF. Eligibility will be specified in the “Good To Know” section of each watch. Qualifications to request a financing is specified in the FAQ.
  • Why was my financing application refused?
    A refusal may be due to your creditworthiness not being considered satisfactory by the banks. In such case, our financial partner can propose solutions to help improving your creditworthiness data. For a matter of confidentiality, Avent0ri do not have access to the details of your data that determine your acceptance or refusal, and as such, we are unable to provide information about the reasons for any potential refusal.
  • In which language is the credit application managed?
    We understand that a clear communication is necessary in order to discuss a credit application. Our financial partner can communicate with you in French, German, Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
